This custom made Alternator bracket is designed to utilize the Fiero's factory
stock Alternator and is mounted the same on all models of 3800 engines.
The above picture shows the stock factory 3800 belt routing using
the 3800 belt tensioner.
Mounting the Alternator low and to the right side of the engine, as
shown above, the deck lid on the stock Fiero does not have to be cut
to clear the Alternator.
The picture below shows a 1999 Buick Park Avenue alternator bracket
and belt tensioner combination on the 3800 engine. Since the
Alternator bracketry varies from year to year and model to model, it
is important that you identify your style of bracket when ordering. |
