California
Air Resources Board approved engine conversions.
| You can now install the 3800
supercharged Series II engine in your Fiero and
obtain an EO number (Executive Order number) through
West Coast Fiero, making this engine conversion
legal in California and many other states that have
smog regulations. With our EO number and
components, you can just go to a smog referee. Your 1984 - 1988 Pontiac Fiero originally
equipped with either the 2.5 liter 4 cylinder
(1984-1988), or 2.8 liter V-6 (1985-1988) naturally
aspirated engine equipped with one of the following
California 3.8 liter supercharged engines installed
as part of an engine change: |

purchased together and installed as a kit to qualify
for the California CARB approval. |

These headers are designed to fit the 3800 Series II that has
been retrofit into the Fiero. This places the exhaust outlet in the
same area as the stock Fiero exhaust.
These headers are
standard 1-1/2" primary 16 gauge head pipes with 3/8" thick flanges
or marmon clamps. The "Y"
pipe is made of 2", 16 gauge tubing and is connected to the 2-1/2" "Y" pipe
collector with a 2-1/2" 3 bolt flange.
The exhaust system on the Stock 3800 exits on the wrong side of the motor.
These headers solve the problem of Catalytic and Muffler installation.
These headers are now available for purchase with marmon clamps (pictured
below)
in place of the 3-Bolt flange for an additional charge. Please specify when
ordering. |

This is the finest custom
Cold Air Intake System for your 3800 supercharged V6 Fiero. It is made out of
3", 16 gauge Steel, matching the air intake diameter of your throttle
body, and is designed to accept the stock Fiero 2.8 Air Temperature
Sensor.
The Air Cleaner is positioned in the fender well, just behind the air
scoop.
Unit is shipped raw steel, ready for paint, with import air filter. |

Picture at left is full Exhaust System with Spintek Muffler.
This exhaust system is constructed of 16 gauge steel and has higher flow
capabilities. It has an aggressive sound compared to the stock 1-7/8" Stock Fiero system without being excessively loud.
System is shipped unpainted, raw metal.
This is an extremely high performance exhaust system
following the routing of the stock exhaust system.
