This bracket configuration was
designed to keep you from having to notch your deck lid to clear the factory
3800 Alternator when being installed in the Fiero.
This aluminum Alternator bracket and Idler pulley enables you to install the
Fiero alternator in place of the Power Steering pump on both stick
shift and automatic.
We decided to use the Fiero Alternator in place of the factory 3800
alternator as there are many different and expensive alternator combinations
with different model 3800 engines.
This Pulley bracket and pulley replaces the 3800 Alternator, keeping the
belt configuration as close to original as possible. This will keep
the belt tension correct. |

This bracket configuration was

This bracket assembly utilizes the stock 3800 Alternator.
This Pulley bracket is mounted in place of the 3800 Alternator, keeping the

LS4 Alternator Bracket |

The LS4 WCF alternator bracket
moves the alternator to a position just above the water pump out of the way
of the deck lid.
This bracket turns the alternator around and places the alternator in the
same place where the battery is, so the battery has to be moved. The best
place to move the battery is to the front of the car. This will also help in
the weight distribution. The reason we didn’t put the alternator down low in
the same place where the Fiero alternator is located, the alternator can’t
be service with out lowering the cradle. The stock LS4 belt tensioner can be
used with this configuration. In our configuration uses the stock belt
routing and tensioner. You can use the power steering pump for power
steering if you wish.

Power steering delete bracket for 3800 Series I, II
and III |

The power steering delete
bracket replaces the power steering pump enabling you to keep the stock belt
routing on the engine.
The pulley (not shown at left) is included with the bracket.

| Torque-arm

This bracket is mounted on rear
of the head between the head and the EGR valve. The other end is attached on
the trunk wall.
With this bracket, the old original torque arm mount at the strut tower is
no longer used.

stock front rubber engine mount for increased isolation from engine vibration.
No modification to the sub-frame is necessary
to install this Engine Mount Adapter. |

This custom made bracket is designed to utilize the Fiero's factory
stock front engine mounting bracket on the sub-frame.
No modification to the sub-frame is necessary
to install this Engine Bracket with mount.
This bracket will work with 84 - 87 sub-frame as well as the '88 sub-frame.
Please specify year of your Fiero when ordering. |
