This is a brand new steel
flywheel specially designed to fit the 4.9 Cadillac engine,
far superior to modifying a cast iron flywheel.
Due to the high demand on
flywheels, we are now producing our own steel flywheels for all GM front
wheel drive engines. This enables to pass on considerable savings to
you compared to the stock GM flywheel reworked.
We need to know the year of your engine and if your flex-plate has a
counterweight on it.
Also available in Aluminum for lighter rotating mass. |

Cast iron Series II & III 3800. |

This flywheel is used in the
Camaro and Firebird. It has been re-machined to fit the 3800 Fiero
conversions. This flywheel weighs 22 pounds prior to machining. We remove 6 pounds of material from the facing to enable the clutch to fit
properly into the Fiero transmission.
The bolt pattern fits the stock Fiero bolt pattern and the crankshaft bolt
pattern is for the Series II Supercharged and normally aspirated engines.

characteristics and crankshaft bolt pattern of the different year engines,
vary considerably.
When ordering your flywheel, we require that you send us the flex plate from
your engine so that we can match balance the flywheel to your plate.
