NOTE: Our 40 Series muffler is designed to fit many Fiero exhaust
applications / sizes.
If you will note in the picture above, the inlet connector (bottom
right) pipe is made to fit 2.0" piping at the outside end. Two
inch piping slips inside this muffler connection, which must be trimmed
to length, then the piping is welded into place. Near the body of
the muffler, this pipe tapers outward, enabling the installer to cut
back the inlet connection to accommodate larger piping (up to 3.0"
piping).
The outlet connections
(top left and right), must be trimmed to fit your exhaust piping.
This fitting is accomplished in the same manner as the inlet connection. |
