Shorty Exhaust Headers

These Headers were developed to put the Exhaust outlet of the 'Y' pipe into the same position as the stock Fiero. This facilitates the use of a Catalytic Converter and Muffler in the stock locations. This header system will exhibit an increase in performance over the stock Fiero system.

These headers will give your engine significant torque increases in the 1500 to 3000 rpm range and horsepower gains up to approximately 5000 rpm.

The head pipes are made of 1-1/2" 16-gauge steel tubing with 3/8" flanges. The "Y" pipes are made of 2" 16-gauge tubing connected to the collectors by 3-bolt flanges and to the 2" exhaust system with a stock 2 bolt flange and cone seal.

With these "shorty headers", you will produce less heat in the engine compartment and a more compact exhaust design.

These headers are available in 3-bolt flange connection or a stainless marmon clamp connection to the "Y" pipe.
