power steering"
Shown above is a
downward view with the front plastic trunk liner removed.
The new power steering unit is mounted on its own heavy duty adapter
bracket to the old steering mount bracket on the left side and our own
adapter bracket on the right side.
This kit is easily installed with the removal of one bracket previously
used to support the left side of the old steering rack.
The end of the steering shaft universal drive joint slips directly on to
the power steering assembly.
Hydraulic line from the steering hydraulic assembly (red and blue plugs
above) are run back under the vehicle to the power steering assist pump
mounted on the engine.
