This is a largeT3 turbo
installed in front of a supercharged Series I engine. The
above is known as a cascading system, where the turbocharger
adds boost to the supercharger for an overall boost pressure
gain. With this type of system, there is no boost lag. Power from the engine is instantaneous. |
