Pictured above is a T3/T4 turbo
installed on on a Series III, showing the exhaust header system
and turbo exhaust. The exhaust header system has a primary
size of 1-1/2", enlarging to 2.0" and the collector.
The turbine exhaust is 2-1/2" to the muffler. Note that in
the turbo exhaust down pipe there are two threaded fittings to
accommodate the O2 sensor for the computer and a wide band O2
gauge for the dash. The exhaust is kept as short as possible to reduce turbo lag. |
